Wanfeng to deliver 64 Diamond aircraft to Huaxia Yunyi

Apr 23, 2021 (China Knowledge) – Zhejiang Wanfeng Auto Wheel (002085)'s subsidiary, Wanfeng Aircraft Industry Co Ltd recently signed a contract to deliver 34 Diamond aircraft to Huaxia Yunyi International Education Technology Co Ltd, expecting a follow-on order of another 30 units in the near future.

These large orders mark the start of a strategic cooperation between Wanfeng Aircraft Industry and Huaxia Yunyi, with the two sides agreeing to carry out in-depth collaboration in the areas of aircraft procurement, aviation materials and parts supply, after-sales maintenance, and other aviation related support services. Both parties will also cooperate in integrating production, education and research to jointly promote the development of China's general aviation industry.

As a pioneer in aviation training and education in China, Huaxia Yunyi operates CCAR-141 certified flight academy, CCRA-142 certified training centre and aviation colleges nationwide. The initial delivery of 34 Diamond aircraft will allow a stable supply of premium brand products for Huaxia Yunyi and set high standards for flight training. Such a strong and large fleet will boost the quality of pilot training. In addition, Huaxia Yunyi intends to continue introducing a larger number of Diamond brand aircraft as it scales up its training facilities.
