Wanfeng Becomes the Designated Supplier of Evergrande New Energy Vehicle for the Mass Production of Its Iconic Hengchi-branded EVs

(May 21, 2021) Recently, Evergrande New Energy Vehicle and Wanfeng Auto Wheel officially kicked off the casting rim project. Wanfeng has become the designated supplier of Evergrande for the mass production of its EVs. This is another great achievement for Wanfeng, entering the fast-growing EV market as a leader in the global wheel industry.

Evergrande’s heads of engineers, procurement, R&D and styling convened at the kick-off meeting and discussed with Wanfeng’s team the current developments of new energy vehicle projects to be mass-produced. The casting rim project involves the Hengchi series of EVs, currently the main brand of Evergrande. Hengchi pure electric SUV perfectly reflects the dynamics and power of crossover vehicles, defining a new automotive lifestyle.
