Wanfeng Aowei Rentlessly Enhance its ESG Practices

In the recent weeks, Wanfeng Aowei and its subsidiaries held various events in the areas of green manufacturing, total quality management and giving back to the community. Wanfeng Aowei is committed to improving ESG (Environment, Society and Governance) practices and becoming a leader in the industry.

·Caring for the environment through green manufacturing

Wanfeng Aowei’s auto wheel and motorcycle wheels business units jointly launched a training program on environmental protection laws / regulations and hazardous waste management. This training is part of company’s efforts to reduce impact on the environment of its products and manufacturing processes.

Wanfeng Aowei’s auto wheel business unit also attended the training of soil and solid waste pollution prevention and control organized by Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment.

· Shaping quality culture and delivering high quality products

Shanghai Dacromet held the 4th Total Quality Management Knowledge Contest in the 2021 Quality Month to improve quality control capabilities, enhance the quality awareness of all employees, and promote the company's quality culture.

Wanfeng Changchun Xiongwei launched several events with the theme "Quality First, Start with Me", including a signing ceremony for all employees on the banner, the collection of quality slogans and the competition of quality inspection skills. These events enhanced the quality awareness at all levels and advocated the craftsmanship in delivering high quality products.

Wanfeng Aowei’s motorcycle wheel business unit carried out a quality awareness training for all employees with the theme of "Why is life so fragile? Thinking about quality". This training mainly explained the quality management model of "full participation, full process, and all-round" and the principle of quality control-"prevention first" to the actual production process.

Zhejiang Wanfeng Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. held an award ceremony for the "Quality Skills Star", commending four employees in the production department with high quality awareness and operation skills.

· Promoting community development and contributing to public welfare

On the Double Ninth Festival or Seniors' Day, Ailian Beautiful Village Fund disbursed funds to the elderly in Duhuang Hill Village. This charity fund was established in 2011 by Ms. Ailian Chen,  Wanfeng Aowei’s founder and then chair of the Board. It has paid out over 10 million RMB to improve the living of seniors and education of youth in rural areas.
