Wanfeng Aowei Attends the 2021 National Magnesium Industry Conference

On October 19th, Wanfeng Aowei was invited to attend the 2021 National Magnesium Industry Conference and the 24th General Assembly of the Magnesium Industry Branch. The General Assembly elected the fifth council and its president, vice president and secretary general. Chen Bin, chairman of Wanfeng Aowei, was elected as the vice president of Magnesium Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.

This conference was co-organized by the People's Government of Yulin City, Shaanxi Province and the Magnesium Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. The conference focused on "green smelting, low-carbon development, and building a win-win ecosystem for the magnesium industry" to achieve the nation’s "dual carbon" goal.

At the confernce, Zhou Jun, Head of Wanfeng Aowei Research Institute, gave a theme speech entitled "Large Structural Parts and Integrated Magnesium Alloy Casting". He said that Wanfeng Aowei advances under the "dual-engine" strategy in the auto parts industry and the general aircraft manufacturing industry. Its subsidiary Meridian is the world's largest die-casting magnesium alloy auto parts supplier, providing customers with a full range of solutions from product design and development to testing and verification to intelligent manufacturing.

In the future, Wanfeng Aowei will continue to focus on the "big transportation" field, continuously improve magnesium alloy lightweight technology and contribute to the new energy vehicle industry.
